A textile designer currently studying Fashion and Textiles at the University of Wolverhampton.   I'm influenced by a lot of things from my own culture to themes such as feminism.   My works are inspired by Asian prints from my own background,  as there is an abundance of influence just from a one piece of Asian textile.  Rich colours and bold prints, Asian textiles never seem to disappoint in their brilliance.  Another strong influence is feminism,  as this is a huge topic in society in general and something that should be universal to everyone.  My final collection at University was inspired by Frida Kahlo and feminism as well as three other women from history.  For the final collection, two series of digitally heat transferred textile prints for fashion.
